Getting Around the Backcountry
Angling, Perch Thinking of introducing your children to the pleasures of angling? Start them off fishing for perch. Perch are well-established fish with a more than ample population, making them a likely catch and therefore rewarding to angle for. This particular fish is not known for it's great fighting ability so your child is very likely to successfully haul one of these panfish into the boat. Don't forget your camera, as you will want to capture that first fish for posterity.
